Max Pitt, M.B.A., CMA attended Graceland University from 1982 to 1986. As a Commercial Banker from 1986 to 1999 in Texas, Max worked with a progressive team of bankers to grow a network of 17 banking centers from three original locations. After the sale of First Valley Bank to Norwest (now Wells Fargo), Max returned to Graceland University to serve as the Vice President for Business Administration. In 2004, Max continued his service at Graceland by teaching Business, Finance, & Accounting. He was appointed Assistant Professor of Business Administration by the board in 2006.
As a faculty member at Graceland University, Max sponsors the student-led Outreach International Club of 50+ students in raising poverty-awareness and resources for Sustainable Good. Since 2007, Max has organized and chaperoned 20-30 Graceland students per year to Nicaragua for an Outreach International site visit.
